1st February Defence O' Dance- On 1st February 2015 at Sardar Patel Stadium approx 25,000 women  participated in the Defence O Dance event was inaugurated by Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel in the presence of Hon. Home Minister Shri Rajnibhai Patel, Air Marshal C. Harikumar V.M. VSM, Smt. Meenaxiben Patel Mayor, DGP Shri P.C. Thakur (IPS), DGP Home Guards Shri H.P.Singh (IPS), A.DGP -Dr . Meera Ramnivas, Mrs. Devika Harikumar (VP AFWWA), Brigadier Arvind Kapoor (Group Commander) NCC, Bhramakumari Sarla Didi, Shri R.K. Sharma (Exe. Directore & Head IRS) ONGC, Shri Yash Malik (Exe Director Asset) ONGC and other senior officers.

Chief Minister Anandiben patel in her speech inspired women to be courageous and have self-respect, self esteem and self confidence.
